Or maybe we are both equally as fabulous as this photo seems to show:

Thanks Mom for the identical outfits and matching bangs! And speaking of Mom, here we are, all the girls together:All silliness aside I'm a mom of two teenages and wife of a most excellent husband who supports me in all my interests, the latest being photography. (and all the money that gets poured into it)
I was encouraged to start a photography blog by Sarah at Little Ark Photography. She's a most talented photographer and blogger friend.
Teaching second grade and my family was my world until 1999 when I retired to be a SAHM for the very first time in my life. My oldest was entering third grade and my youngest kindergarten. It's been an amazing journey since leaving teaching. I taught myself violin and guitar and play them both as Elizabeth in Pride and Prejudice describes as "very ill indeed". I've been able to travel, nothing exotic, but still trips that would not have been possible if I had still been teaching.
In the summer of 2004 I did some research and learned to make soap from scratch. As it turns out you can just use so much soap. That's when I began selling at craft fairs and Coneflower Ranch Bath and Body was born!
Customers would ask me about candles, so it was back to the research and decided on soy candles.
It's been a great journey, and although I'm not longer doing the craft shows I'm loving every minute of it.
Almost two years ago I caught the photography bug and here I am, learning again and still loving it!
