February Daisies

Hot on the heels of my "I'm trying to spend less time in photoshop" post, I spent a bit of time today in photoshop working with textures. I know, right? I'm an enigma wrapped in a riddle, or maybe a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma...er, you get the idea. ha!

I took the daisies out of my Valentine's Day bouquet and rearranged them in another vase.  It was 70 degrees here in Pennsylvania today, gorgeous, so I took it outside, along with one of those science fair project backdrops and took some pics.

For some reason, daisies just look really nice with textures added to lend a vintage feel, and so I did, using a couple of Kim Klassen's textures, love her!

Hope you are getting a taste of spring where you are today!

  5. 70 degrees in Pennsylvania???? Relish that temperature. I would not imagine the temp to be so warm and delightful. I adore your daisys and the treatment. My taste of spring was a few weeks ago, now we are back to cold with snow on mountain tops around me, ugg.

  6. Beautiful! I'm so glad you've had pretty weather recently! I think we're pretty much finished with winter. They're talking spring thunderstorms this week. It's crazy!

I watched the amazing race tonight, too. I'm so excited about these teams!
