Snowy Friday Morning

We woke up to a blanket of white in southeast Pennsylvania this morning.  I was really suprised that school was not on a two hour delay, and boy was my son unhappy about that!  I was concerned about him driving in it, but he did really well.  We also don't live that far from the high school, thank goodness!

As soon as the snow let up I went out to take some pictures, of course!
My coneflowers are a neverending source of inspiration.

They are also the best nature-made birdfeeders in my yard.

I'm a lover of things primative.

This rusty wrought iron fence piece borders my front garden.
I thought I'd put all the Christmas decorations away...there's always that straggler hiding someplace...
My cousin Eileen in California messaged me and said that I should take this picture of candy canes out in the snow so it can be a Christmas card for next year.  Good call Eileen!
I used two free textures from Kim Klassen Cafe.  Her next skinny mini e-course is starting on January 10th, and it's free!

I learned so much from her first one that I think I'll definitely be signing up again, especially since the craziness of the holiday season is through.  If you haven't it's definitely worth the time!
